Clash detects Git merge conflicts across worktrees before they happen. When multiple AI coding agents work in parallel, each agent is blind to what the others are changing. Clash monitors active worktrees and warns about overlapping edits early. It runs locally, is read-only, and integrates with tools like Claude Code through hooks and structured JSON, helping you catch conflicts while agents are still working instead of at merge time.
